ARGO Unveils New 2017 Industrial Series for Commercial Applications

July 18, 2016 – New Hamburg, ON – ARGO, the world leading extreme vehicle manufacturer, today unveiled four new vehicle models for demanding commercial applications as part of its 2017 Industrial Series.

Featuring industry leading terrain capabilities, excellent value and enhanced performance, the 2017 Industrial Series lineup includes the following heavy duty vehicles:

• ARGO Conquest 8×8 Explorer XTi / XTd: designed for customers in the oil and gas and mining industries
• ARGO Conquest 8×8 Lineman XTi: geared specifically towards utilities workers.
• ARGO Conquest 8×8 XTi: the ultimate all-terrain industrial and commercial machine for those who require a durable and dependable job site transporter

“When we started planning for our 2017 Industrial Series model launch, the first thing we did was ask countless end users and fleet supervisors what they wanted from a heavy-duty utility vehicle,” said Bernhard Wagenknecht, ARGO’s VP Sales & Marketing. “The feedback was unanimous: they told us they wanted a vehicle with more capacity, versatility, power and comfort. Nothing on the market was able to fulfill their needs properly. Based on the extensive field testing and feedback we’ve received over the past year, we’ve delivered exactly what commercial users asked for.”

Wagenknecht continued: “We have two main goals with our new 2017 Industrial Series: to make workers’ jobs easier and to satisfy their unmet needs. When you look at what is currently available on the market today, there’s nothing as tough, powerful or comfortable as the ARGO Conquest. As a result, it will serve as a game changer in the heavy duty extreme terrain vehicle category.”
