There’s No Stopping the ARGO Sasquatch

(NEW HAMBURG, February 8, 2024) — ARGO, manufacturer of ATVs, SSVs, UGVs and the worldwide leader for amphibious Xtreme Terrain Vehicles (XTVs) has opened the production doors and started to drive the all-new ARGO Sasquatch XTX off their North American production floor.

President and CEO Brad Darling commented, “The excitement is overwhelming. We have spent years developing the ultimate amphibious offroad vehicle in Sasquatch. Engineering and producing a machine with so much capability was truly a team effort and is a testament to why ARGO is the #1 selling amphibious offroad company in the world today.”

When ARGO announced the Sasquatch back in April, it put everyone on notice knowing that a company with over 55 years in amphibious offroad vehicle development would set a new level of capability, quality, and comfort. One of the key elements in the very beginning was listening to what people wanted in a commercial vehicle and then exceed that expectation.

The Sasquatch has already proven to be a category leader. From the best-in-class QX4 Crew Cab to the versatile Flexbox, and the ARGO HDT™ Automatic

e-Steer™ transmission operated by a steering wheel control, which provides any driver the confidence to jump in, buckle up and go where others can’t.

With production now in full swing, Sasquatch has joined the ARGO Pro Series to offer potential customers the most complete line-up of commercial vehicles that can handle the demands of their business.

ARGO Sasquatch Exceeds First Impressions

Posted Oct 26, 2023

(NEW HAMBURG, October 26, 2023) — ARGO, manufacturer of ATVs, SSVs, UGVs and the worldwide leader for amphibious Xtreme Terrain Vehicles (XTVs) wholeheartedly believes that “you only get one chance to make a first impression” by bringing in their top commercial dealers for the first opportunity to drive the all-new Sasquatch. And it did not disappoint.

ARGO commercial dealers from North America assembled at their US facility to jump behind the wheel of the highly-anticipated, technologically advanced, ARGO Sasquatch XTX. The adventure started with a hands-on informational walkaround of the machine lead by the engineering team behind this modern marvel and then capped off the event with a full day at ARGO’s testing facility showcasing many scenarios to put the Sasquatch through the paces. The weather even decided to cooperate by being cold and rainy to demonstrate the true comforts of the ultra-quiet, QX4 crew cab.

After spending time with dealers and hearing what they had to say, President and CEO Brad Darling commented, “This event provided positive feedback that is a true testament to our experience and knowledge earned over 55 years of leading the amphibious offroad category. That, combined with a dedicated team pushed by their enthusiasm, has resulted in the creation of the most comfortable, reliable and capable machine on the market.”

ARGO released the first in a series of videos showcasing what a commercial amphibious offroad vehicle should be with the first impressions of the Sasquatch XTX. “There’s no way I should be doing this”, “it gives you a confidence that nothing else out there can do” and “handles way better than I could have even imagined” are just a few of statements that could be heard after driving the Sasquatch. This series of videos will be released on the ARGO XTV YouTube channel and promoted via their LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram channels.

ARGO Outpaces Commercial Growth Expectation

Posted Oct 10, 2023

(NEW HAMBURG, October 10, 2023) — ARGO, manufacturer of ATVs, SSVs, UGVs and the worldwide leader for amphibious Xtreme Terrain Vehicles (XTVs) announced their commitment to servicing the offroad commercial market earlier this year with the rollout of an all-new line of Pro and Commercial amphibious offroad vehicles. Included in the recent unveiling was the capable and highly anticipated ARGO Sasquatch XTX which is fresh off its worldwide debut at the 2023 Utility Expo in Louisville, Kentucky, and proved to be a popular stopping point for many of the attendees.

The overwhelming and positive response from the commercial market to date leads ARGO to announce the addition of Pat Marion, Commercial Regional Sales Manager, Canada. Pat brings years of successful experience working with offroad dealerships and a deep knowledge of his Canadian territory. Also joining the commercial sales team is Cheryl Johnson. Cheryl’s role as a Commercial Customer Support Manager will utilize her strengths in furthering dealer development efforts, managing customer service initiatives and supporting commercial campaigns.

With a full build schedule and Pro Series units rolling off dealer’s floors, President and CEO Brad Darling commented, “The energy surrounding the Pro Series and Commercial models has been overwhelmingly constructive. Our clients are turning to our products to accomplish tasks that nothing else is capable of. Expanding our commercial team of passionate and knowledgeable professionals means we will be able to bring the latest technology in off road mobility to an even wider array of commercial sectors and assist the men and women who work tirelessly every day to maintain our global resources in the line of duty.”

There appears to be no signs of the market slowing down for the all-new Sasquatch and Pro Series line of products. As we continue to identify new open territories, we’ll look to fill those areas with new commercial dealers and additional support staff who share ARGO’s vision to Know No Boundaries.

ARGO Atlas EV is putting electric to the test

ARGO Atlas EV is putting electric to the test

(NEW HAMBURG, January 3, 2023) — ARGO, manufacturer of ATVs, SxSs, UTVs and the worldwide leader for amphibious Xtreme Terrain Vehicles (XTVs) has been taking advantage of Minnesota’s frozen tundra this winter.

Minnesota, land of 10,000 lakes, which boasts a record low of -60°F (-51°C), and a record high of 115°F (46°C) makes this the perfect testing grounds for ARGO’s all-new Atlas EV amphibious XTV.

Based out of their Thief River Falls Minnesota facility, ARGO engineers were very busy cold weather testing the Atlas EV over the holiday season.

Putting the 48V system to the test; battery life, run times and gauge functionality are just some of performance evaluations being performed in temps that have reached lows of -24°F (-31°C) so far this season.

Overall performance continues to impress in some of the harshest conditions as the ARGO E-SteerTM transmission has not missed a beat and continues to perform seamlessly with progressive maneuvers.

Having over 12” (30 cm) of ice on the lakes meant amphibious testing will have to wait until the spring. However, the feeling of floating was achieved cruising across the ice, proving yet again ARGO XTVs are a true “Go Anywhere” machine.

ARGO Electrifies Outdoor and Powersport Enthusiasts

(NEW HAMBURG, September 28, 2022) — ARGO, manufacturer of ATVs, SxSs, UTVs and the worldwide leader for amphibious Xtreme Terrain Vehicles (XTVs) releases the 100% electric Atlas EV amphibious XTV.

The Atlas EV stands out not only as a fully amphibious, go anywhere vehicle, but also is a testament to ARGO’s advancements within the electrification field. The newly launched Atlas EV XTV touts a 28kWh battery pack powering a single electric drive motor as well as an independent steering motor, while the ARGO Admiral E-steer™ transmission incorporates steer by wire technology for seamless and progressive maneuvers. The Atlas EV demonstrates the vast knowledge and understanding ARGO has accrued in electrification and drive technology for over a decade being a key player in the electric unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) and autonomous driving markets.

The Atlas EV introduces ergonomic updates with an adjustable split front seat and contoured seating. The sleek cosmetic refinements to the headlights and internally recessed winch retain all the function while making this Sky Silver Metallic 8x8 one eye-catching, very capable machine. The Atlas EV also comes standard with a comprehensive 12-inch touch screen display equipped with vehicle location technology, intelligent terrain mapping and on demand vehicle health reporting.

Previewed a few weeks ago at the 55th annual SnoBarons HayDays in North Branch, MN, ARGO held an exclusive intro event to a select group of attending powersports veterans providing an opportunity to jump in and feel the instantaneous acceleration of the newly unveiled go anywhere product. Statements like, “This is the most powerful, easy to operate, maneuverable and competent XTV Argo has ever produced” and “ARGO has another winner with the Atlas EV 8x8” are just a couple of the responses we heard.

Brad Darling, President and CEO of ARGO states, “When ARGO started making electric UGVs over a decade ago, we knew the demand to put people in one would come in the near future, which is why we developed our UGVs to easily accommodate that need while keeping all the functionality that has proven successful in the autonomous drive markets.”

Continuing to differentiate themselves from industry competitors, ARGO once again shows what it means to Know No Boundaries. ARGO’s reservation program for the Atlas EV opens today, September 28th and customers can claim their production slot at ArgoXTV.com.

ARGO Outpaces Industry While Expanding Lineup for 2023

ARGO Outpaces Industry While Expanding Lineup for 2023

(NEW HAMBURG, July 29th, 2022) —ARGO, manufacturer of ATVs, SxSs, UTVs and the worldwide leader for amphibious Xtreme Terrain Vehicles (XTVs) launched their most diversified lineup of products yet, showcasing over 55 years of research and development. Staying true to their “Know No Boundaries” mantra, ARGO CEO Brad Darling immediately smiled when asked about the MY23 product and said, “Year over year we continue to see exponential growth across all of our segments of products. This continued growth is in large part due to the enthusiasm and effort put forth by ARGO employees to push our products to the next level, ARGO dealers and distributors who’ve identified what carrying ARGO products can do for their business, and consumers who understand where ARGO products can take them.”

Kicking off the 2023 release, ARGO set their sights on expanding the lineup of amphibious XTVs. ARGO unveiled an “SE” package outfitted with a front-mounted factory-installed brushguard, hand holds and 3 special colors of their high-density polyethylene (HDPE) shell: White, Tan and Navy Blue. The most exciting part about these new SE models is they are powered by the all-new ODG LX 850 engine. This big bore, fan-cooled, V-twin engine puts a ton of go in Go Anywhere.

While the new SE model may grab the attention of headlines, the ARGO team remained persistent in making improvements to the entry level Frontier and premiere Aurora models. For 2023, ARGO addressed consumer feedback for additional handholds by adding a newly designed seat configuration that now provides rear facing handhold locations for passengers sitting in the back. To take that one step further, ARGO also contoured the seat design for the driver and front passenger providing additional rider comfort. Mechanically, Aurora models received shift lever linkage and throw updates to improve the shifting experience. Pair these subtle yet noticeable alterations to the Instant Torque Drive System (ITDS) and Instant Torque Clutch (ITC) and you find yourself driving one of the strongest, most versatile Go Anywhere XTVs ARGO has ever manufactured.

Returning in model year 2023 is ARGO’s strong offering of ATV’s, structured with displacement options ranging from 90cc all the way up to 997cc. The ARGO ATV lineup offers the right machine for any riding level at the right price. Leading off the single rider category with the ever-popular XC 90 youth model rated for riders ages 12 and up. Moving up to the mid-size category with the feature packed XR 500 and XR 500 SE. And finally, the powerful and nimble XR 700 EPS and XR 700 LE. Catering to the touring category, ARGO continues to offer their

industry leading lineup of 2-up ATVS. The XRT 570 and XRT 570 LE have a history of getting you and your companion down the trail in comfort while the mighty XRT 1000 LE not only offers comfort, but also extra speed and style.

After entering the SXS category last year, ARGO is ready to hit the trails and take on the toughest jobs of 2023 with the Magnum XF 500 series side by side.

Available in a base and LE model, the Magnum proves to be one of the toughest competitors in the 500-class

utility side by side category. Equipped with electronic push button 2WD/4WD with locking differential, digital display, rear tilting cargo box with contoured bed mat and a fully certified roll over protective structure (ROPS), unique to the Magnum design. The Magnum XF 500 is ready to know no boundaries and take you on your biggest adventures of 2023.

Hunting is all about getting to the right spot, with the right gear while leaving no trace. The ARGO line of wilderness vehicles continues to delight hunters and strike fear into its prey.

Sporting the TrueTimber Prairie Camo, the Frontier Scout 6x6 and 8x8 provide the beginning hunter with a tactical advantage. The Aurora Huntmaster 8x8 shows off its premiere platform with unrivaled handling and performance while the Conquest Outfitter 8x8 makes for the ultimate hunting partner of any seasoned sportsman or woman.

When it comes to playing in the mud, don’t let the kids have all the fun! The Aurora Bigfoot MX8 takes you to and through the next mud hole with all 8 of its XT119 25” mud-taming tires, 9” ARGO signature AirLock™ rims and VX 950 V-twin EFI engine.

ARGO’s residency within the commercial sector continues to make great strides across the North American and International markets yielding sustainable growth year over year. For 2023, ARGO unveiled an optimized lineup of commercial machines bred to navigate terrain other machines would never dare. Ready to take on the toughest jobs of 2023, ARGO rolls out their commercial lineup consisting of the Aurora Responder, Conquest XT, XT-L and XT-X. Continuing to keep operators and passengers safe while traversing some of the world’s roughest terrain, the 2023 commercial lineup instills the confidence your crew needs when venturing into the unknown.

Finally, for model year 2023 ARGO went big. Real big. The ARGO Centaur XT is undeniably one of the most capable and recognizable UTV machines out there. Touting 71” tubeless, ultra-low- pressure tires and a harmonious hum of a 1.8 L Doosan diesel engine. The Centaur XT fills the shoes of its early 2000’s predecessor as a true go anywhere machine.

Capable of navigating open water and unruly terrain, the Centaur XT offers additional customizable 4 person, 6 person and 8 person layouts within the aluminum hard top cab that will accommodate a number of differentiated applications. Engineered with safety and versatility at the

forefront, the Centaur XT’s offroad performance and capabilities make

this machine one of the most capable pieces of machinery to traverse this planet.

There’s no question that ARGO has taken tremendous leaps forward over their 55 years in business. The 2023 product offering is not only a testament to this statement, but also a true example of what it takes to build equipment that Knows No Boundaries.
